What it is and how to join it.

What is IRC? IRC is like an old-fashioned version of AIM or MSN Live chat. Same idea, same general general-ness.
And like modern chat programs, there are different versions; you should get a client based on your web browser.
I use Chatzilla for Firefox–it’s a plugin you can download for free.
But there’s also mIRC, and Mibbit, etc. Do a Google search and you will find the client that’s best for you.

For Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, and Internet Explorer users, I suggest you use mIRC. You can download it from this site–http://www.mirc.com/get.html
A step-by-step guide for this client can be found here.

For Mozilla Firefox users, I suggest you use Chatzilla. You can download it from this site–
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/16/
A step-by-step guide for this client can be found here.

The packlist for all of our downloads can be found here: Torako Bot.
You will be prompted with this link upon entry to our channel.

To actually download the chapter, view the topic when you are all set up and logged into our channel. From there, you’ll pick the “trigger,” (e.g. !sanka [number of chapter] -> !sanka1). The trigger taps into the bot and tells it that you want to download something. So you type in !seriesname#ofchapter.

Really, you can use any client you’d like in any browser (except Chatzilla).
What you do is up to you, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
